Objections? We can help.

Financial wellness means something different to everyone. Take the time to ask the right questions to accurately assess if Your Money Line is the right tool for your clients.

We already have financial resources included.

That is a useful foundation. What can an employee do when they need personal help with debt, a budget, or a benefits decision? YML brings money tools, education, and ongoing access to an AFC or CFP credentialed Financial Guide into one experience. Let’s compare your current access, scope, follow-through, and usage before deciding where employees could use more help.

Ask next: Which questions still end up with HR, and what happens after someone attends a webinar?

Why pay when the other resource is free?

The decision is whether a separate benefit solves an unmet need worth funding. We can look at who uses the included resource, what help they receive, and whether employees can continue with a Guide. If the current service already meets those needs, the case for adding YML is weaker.

Ask next: What would need to improve for an additional investment to make sense?

Is this duplicating our retirement advisor or EAP?

YML can support the everyday money questions that affect an employee’s ability to use those benefits. It can help employees understand options and prepare questions, with investment-specific questions routed to the appropriate advisor. We should map the current services together.

Ask next: Which everyday financial topics does each existing provider handle today?

Our employees will not use another platform.

That concern should shape the launch. YML combines tools with human support and client-success help with communications and engagement. We would plan around your workforce’s schedules and channels, then measure registration, ongoing use, and coaching separately.

Ask next: What has prevented people from using past benefits?

Will HR see employees’ personal finances?

Financial Guide conversations are confidential. Employer financial-health and engagement insights are reported in aggregate. Administrative eligibility and registration records are a separate category; confirm the exact fields and access for your proposed setup.

Ask next: What privacy or reporting requirements should we review with your team?

Can you prove this will reduce turnover?

We have customer stories showing engagement and how employees use the support. Those stories do not establish a guaranteed reduction in turnover. We can agree on financial-wellbeing measures and examine workforce trends without presenting correlation as causation.

Ask next: Which outcomes would your team use to evaluate success?

Our employees earn too much to need this.

Income alone does not tell us whether someone feels confident about money. Debt, benefits decisions, caregiving, housing, and life changes can create questions at many income levels.

Ask next: What financial decisions are employees asking about, regardless of pay?

How does this work inside Navigate?

We should confirm the contracted experience with both teams, including access, eligibility, reporting, support, and any technical connections. The proposed value is deeper financial guidance within the employer’s broader wellbeing strategy.

Ask next: Do you need a referral, coordinated launch, or a technical connection?

Find the story that fits your client.

Connect each workforce’s needs with relevant examples and support.

Describe Your Money Line.

Overview

Your Money Line is an employee financial wellness benefit combining an all-in-one money application, personalized tools and education, and one-to-one guidance from AFC or CFP credentialed Financial Guides.

How does YML complement existing benefits?

Differentiation

YML helps employees address everyday financial decisions and understand the benefits their employer already offers. Its combination of technology, education, and personal guidance can complement retirement, EAP, and broader wellbeing resources. The proposed scope should be compared with the employer’s current services.

What credentials do Financial Guides hold?

Coaching

Every YML Financial Guide holds an Accredited Financial Counselor credential, a Certified Financial Planner certification, or both.

Do Guides sell financial products?

Coaching

Financial Guides provide unbiased support and are not compensated through product commissions. They do not sell investment, insurance, lending, or wage-transfer products. Separately priced platform services should be described in the proposal.

Can participants build an ongoing coaching relationship?

Coaching

Participants can choose to continue working with the same Financial Guide. Confirm current appointment availability and service terms for the proposed population.

What topics can participants discuss?

Coaching

Common topics include budgeting, cash flow, debt, credit, savings, benefits understanding, student loans, retirement readiness, housing, and life changes. YML does not provide specific legal, tax, or investment advice.

What tools are available?

Product

The platform combines budgeting, account aggregation, spending insights, credit monitoring, assessments, calculators, financial education, and access to Financial Guides. Confirm the current package and web/mobile feature availability in the proposal.

How can employees reach a Guide?

Access

Participants can reach Financial Guides through phone, email, chat, text, and scheduled appointments. Your YML team can confirm current staffed hours, appointment availability, and response commitments for your program.

Are household members eligible?

Eligibility

YML supports eligible household members. Your employer proposal defines the covered relationships, age requirements, access controls, and any package-specific terms.

What launch support is provided?

Implementation

YML provides implementation and client-success support, launch communications, and ongoing engagement resources. The launch plan should identify eligibility, employer benefits information, communications, access, and success measures.

How long does implementation take?

Implementation

Implementation is planned with your Client Success team around your launch goals, required inputs, and technical setup. Your YML team will confirm the timeline for your organization.

What reporting is available?

Reporting

Employers can receive aggregate utilization and financial-wellbeing insights. Your YML team can walk through metric definitions, reporting frequency, privacy controls, administrative fields, and partner versus employer access.

Are coaching conversations confidential?

Privacy

Financial Guide conversations are confidential. Aggregate financial and engagement reporting supports employer program evaluation. Confirm contractual privacy terms and administrative data access with YML before describing the full data flow.

Does YML have a SOC 2 report?

What is included and what does it cost?

Pricing

Your Navigate-specific proposal identifies the eligible population, contract term, included services, minimums, implementation, optional services, and renewal terms.

Are identity protection and tax filing included?

Product

Identity protection and tax filing are available within YML’s broader product offering. Your proposal specifies which services are included, employee fees, eligibility, coverage, and applicable terms.

What outcomes can YML substantiate?

Evidence

BraunAbility reports 41% engagement with YML, and Apex Benefits reports 60% participation at launch. These are customer-specific examples; participation and engagement are distinct measures and results vary by employer.

Can YML guarantee ROI or reduced turnover?

Evidence

Do not promise a quantified ROI or turnover reduction without an approved study and applicable contract language. Agree on registration, ongoing engagement, coaching, participant feedback, and financial-wellbeing measures for the specific employer.

What are the SLAs, legal terms, and insurance limits?

Contract

The YML team can provide applicable contract and service commitments, data-processing terms, insurance documentation, retention and deletion policies, and security materials for your evaluation.

How should Navigate hand off an opportunity?

Operations

Begin with an introduction to YML that the employer has agreed to. Share the employer’s need, size, current financial resources, workforce access needs, timing, decision-maker, and desired next step. Coordinate the demo and commercial process with your YML partnership contact.

Frequently asked questions

Okay, I have a few more questions

What happens as I grow my book?

Plus Icon

Adding new groups is easy — just upload a new census file for each new plan you bring on. All groups roll up under your MAI account. There is no pro-rating; groups added mid-cycle simply join the existing pool toward your thresholds.

Will my clients be able to see each other's information?

Plus Icon

No. Each group's data is kept separate. Your clients won't see a list of other companies in the platform, and their employee data is only visible to you through your advisor dashboard — filtered by employer.

What's the difference between what I can see and what my clients' HR teams can see?

Plus Icon

As the advisor, you have access to employer-level engagement metrics across all your groups (connected users, feature adoption, etc.). HR admins at individual companies see only their own group's data. If you'd like to grant a client's HR team access to their specific dashboard, contact your YML team.

Who do I contact at Your Money Line, and when?

Plus Icon

For census file questions or onboarding support, contact your dedicated Client Success Manager. For billing or contract questions, reach out to your YML account lead. We're here to support you — but our goal is to make this hub your first stop so you can move fast without waiting on us.
